Windows 10 support to end in October 2025

21/10/2024 - Information Technology

Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 in October 2025. That means the end of technical support and security updates for Windows 10, and also means many other software vendors will stop supporting their software on Windows 10.

Launched in 2015, Windows 10 is still widely used by many businesses. But with support ending next year, now is the time to start planning to upgrade or replace your existing Windows 10 devices.

The good news is that its replacement - Windows 11 - is a stable, secure and well tested replacement (no Windows Vista horror stories here). For the last couple of years Windows 11 has been the go-to operating system for new machines, and is already in use across our client base.

So if you have Windows 10 devices in use across your business - talk to 4Cambridge about how best to move to Windows 11.
